Arrive at Miyanoen Garden by 10:00 AM for a hands-on tea leaf picking event in one of Japan’s three major tea regions—Sayama. Dress in a traditional tea-picking outfit, stroll through vibrant tea bushes, and enjoy a countryside escape filled with laughter and fun. The garden is a little far from the nearest station, but the refreshing atmosphere and Sayama tea’s beauty benefits make it worth the visit.
Spend a relaxing afternoon at Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park, which features vast lawns, the Aviation Museum, and cafes. Enjoy a picnic, stroll around, or explore the aircraft exhibits.
