Uchiko Town, nestled in Ehime Prefecture, is a beautifully preserved countryside town known for its traditional merchant houses, white-walled streets, and the iconic Uchiko-za Kabuki Theater. The easiest way to reach Uchiko is by train. Take the JR Yosan Line from Matsuyama Station to Uchiko Station (about 25–30 minutes). From Uchiko Station, the historic district is a 10-minute walk. Highway buses also connect Uchiko with Matsuyama and Ozu.
