Arakurayama Sengen Park, located in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, is one of Japan’s most iconic cherry blossom viewing spots. The park is renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views of Mt. Fuji, especially when framed by cherry blossoms and the striking Chureito Pagoda. In spring, thousands of sakura trees bloom, attracting visitors from all over the world. The park is also a place of cultural significance, featuring shrines and the famous five-storied pagoda.
For international visitors, taking the train is the most convenient way to reach Arakurayama Sengen Park. From Tokyo, take the JR Chuo Line to Otsuki Station, then transfer to the Fujikyu Railway and get off at Shimoyoshida Station. The park entrance is about a 10-minute walk from the station, and the climb to the Chureito Pagoda involves about 400 steps.
Note: If you want to travel quickly by taking the Limited Express "Kaiji," you will need to purchase a limited express ticket (tokkyu-ken).

You can also take a highway bus from Busta Shinjuku (Shinjuku Expressway Bus
Terminal) bound for "Chuo-do Shimoyoshida."
Please note that advance reservations are required for this bus, so be sure to book
your seat before boarding.
From the "Chuo-do Shimoyoshida" bus stop, it is about a 15-minute walk to the
park.

The most common route is via Shinjuku Station. Take the JR Chuo Line Limited Express
to Otsuki, then transfer to the Fujikyu Railway for Shimoyoshida. From the station,
